Get designs, documents, videos and websites approved by the right people, in the right order, with comments on the exact spot and a record of every decision.

Open ReviewFlowAbout ReviewFlow

Send something for review

  1. 1Choose New review and pick the file: an image, a PDF or a video. It starts uploading straight away. For a website or a Figma or Canva design, choose Paste a link instead.
  2. 2Add the people who approve it. Put them in steps if order matters, say your team first and then the client.
  3. 3Choose Send for review. The first step's reviewers get an email with a private link; they do not need an account.

Review a website

  1. 1Choose Paste a link and enter the address of the page, say yoursite.com/pricing. Pick the device reviewers see first.
  2. 2We load the page once and keep a copy. Reviewers see the copy, never the live site, so the site cannot track them and the page cannot change during the review.
  3. 3Clicking a link in the copy opens that page of the same site. The icons above the page switch between desktop, tablet and phone.
  4. 4Pins stay on the page and device they were made on. Pages behind a sign-in, and the few sites that turn automated visits away, cannot be copied; send screenshots or a PDF instead.

Review a Figma or Canva design

  1. 1In Figma or Canva, choose Share and set the link so anyone with it can view.
  2. 2In ReviewFlow, choose Paste a link and paste it. Reviewers see the live design and can click through a Figma prototype.
  3. 3Pins mark a spot on the frame. If the design has several screens, say which one in the comment.

Comment and decide

  1. 1Choose Pin on the page, then click the exact spot. On a video, pause and choose At this moment.
  2. 2Reviewers approve, request changes (with a reason) or reject. Everyone in a step must approve, unless the step is set to any one.
  3. 3When a step approves, the next one is emailed. You hear about every decision.

A new version

  1. 1Open the review and choose New version. The route starts again from the first step, because earlier approvals were for different work.
  2. 2Comments stay with the version they were made on. Compare shows the previous version beside the new one.

Pre-check rules

  1. 1Choose Pre-check rules and write what your work must always, or must never, say. Put exact words in quotes.
  2. 2Each new version is read against them, and anything that breaks a rule appears as a comment marked Check.

The record and the certificate

  1. 1Record lists everything that happened, in order. Each entry is chained to the one before, so the record shows whether anything was changed.
  2. 2Once every step approves, download the certificate: who approved and when, and a fingerprint of the exact file.
