Do these QR codes expire?
No. A code made here holds its content inside the pattern itself, so there is nothing on our side that could switch it off. It works for as long as the thing it points to exists.
What is the difference between a static and a dynamic QR code?
A static code, like the ones on this page, holds the address itself and can never change. A dynamic code holds a short link that we redirect, so you can change where it points after printing and see how often it is scanned. Ours are free too, and they keep working even if you never pay.
Can I use them for my business?
Yes. Every code you make here is yours to use anywhere, for anything, with no watermark and no credit to us.
Why will my QR code not scan?
Usually one of three things: too little contrast (keep the dots dark and the background light), printed too small (aim for at least 2 cm across, more for long content), or no empty border around it. The generator warns you about colours that phones struggle with.
Do you track who scans my code?
Not for the codes on this page; they never touch our servers. Dynamic codes count scans by day, country and kind of device, without cookies and without storing anyone's IP address.
