Bank statements to Excel, with every row checked
Drop a PDF statement from your bank's app or website and get a clean table of dates, descriptions, money in, money out and balance. Each row is checked against the running balance, so you know the totals are right before you use them.
Checked, not guessed
Opening balance, plus money in, minus money out, must equal each row's balance. Anything that does not add up is highlighted, never hidden.
Locked statements welcome
Many banks send statements with a password. Enter it once; it opens the file and is never stored.
Your statement is deleted
The PDF is deleted the moment it has been read. Only the table is kept, for a day on the free plan and a month on paid plans.
CSV and Excel
CSV opens anywhere. Excel files come with real dates and numbers, frozen headings and flagged rows highlighted.
Questions people ask
Which banks does it work with?
Any bank whose statement PDF has text in it, which is nearly every statement downloaded from an app or website. It reads the layout rather than knowing a particular bank, so separate debit and credit columns, a single amount column and DR/CR markers all work.
What about scanned statements?
A scanned statement is a picture of the pages and has no text to read. Download the statement from your bank's app or internet banking instead; that version works.
What does the balance check tell me?
That every transaction was read correctly. If a row does not add up, the page may have been read wrongly or the bank's own statement has a mistake; either way you see it before relying on the totals.
Is it free?
Yes, for 10 pages a month with CSV downloads. Paid plans add hundreds or thousands of pages, Excel files, and keep your tables for a month.
