Writer
Write captions, posts, WhatsApp messages, product descriptions, emails and articles with AI, in your own voice and with your real prices and dates.
Set up your voice once
- 1Tap Your voice and say what the business does, who you write for and how you sound: friendly, expert, playful.
- 2Choose the language and spelling, add your own rules ("always mention free delivery in Ikeja") and words you never use.
- 3Paste a sample of your own writing, such as a post or your About page. It teaches Writer your style better than any setting.
Write something
- 1Pick what to write, such as an Instagram caption or a WhatsApp broadcast, and answer the few questions it asks.
- 2Tick Use your business details to let Writer use your menu, services, events and courses, so prices, dates and links are the real ones.
- 3Short pieces come as three options to choose from; longer ones, such as an article or an email, come as a full draft. The cost in credits shows on the button.
Make it yours
- 1Change anything in the text. To improve part of it, select it and choose Make it shorter, friendlier or another option; the suggestion replaces it only if you choose Use it.
- 2The checks under the text show the length against the platform's limit, how easy it is to read and any phrases that sound machine-written.
- 3Turn it into lets you make, say, a WhatsApp message from your Facebook post, in the same voice. Earlier versions are kept, so nothing is ever lost.
- 4Always check prices, dates and names before you post.
Save text you write often as snippets
- 1Tap Snippets under the text and save a sign-off, a call to action, your hashtags, a link or your contact details. Everyone in your workspace can use them.
- 2In the text, type / and the first letters of a snippet's name, such as /sig, then press Enter to put it in. Arrow keys move through the list and Esc closes it.
- 3To save text you have already written, select it, open Snippets and choose Save the selected text as a snippet.
- 4On a phone, open Snippets and tap Insert: the snippet goes where your cursor was.
Run a campaign: one brief, every place
- 1On Writer's first page, tap New campaign. Say what it's about (the news or offer, the dates, what people should do) and choose where it goes: Instagram, LinkedIn, X, WhatsApp, an email, an article and more.
- 2Write them all asks AI to write every piece at once, each made for its own place with the same facts. The cost in credits shows on the button. Each piece is an ordinary piece you can open and change.
- 3If you wrote some pieces yourself, the button writes only the empty ones; Write all again replaces every piece, keeping the old text in Earlier versions.
- 4With AI off, the campaign still works: open each piece and write it yourself.
- 5Plan them around a day suggests when each goes out (the article first, the email the day before, the rest on the day) and puts them on the calendar. Download the campaign pack for every piece and a sheet of what goes where and when.
- 6Removing a campaign keeps its pieces.
Plan when it goes out
- 1Tap Plan under the text, choose where it goes, the day and the time. Add a note to yourself if you like, such as which photo to use.
- 2Writer never posts for you. When the time comes, it emails you the text with a link that opens it on the right format, with Copy and Open ready. Untick the email if you don't want it.
- 3Writer's first page shows what's due today, and anything from the last week you haven't marked as posted. Tap Posted once it's out.
- 4Calendar shows everything by month or by week. On a computer, drag a plan to another day and it keeps its time; or open it to change the day, the time or where it goes. On a phone, the days with plans show as a list.
Get it out, right for every app
- 1Formats (beside the text on a computer, or the Formats and copy tab on a phone) shows your piece as it will look on LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, Bluesky, Google, YouTube, WhatsApp, Telegram, a text message, an email or a web page.
- 2Copy for each app keeps what that app understands: *stars* for bold on WhatsApp, line breaks on LinkedIn, headings and links when you paste into an email or Word. Open opens the app's own page with the text filled in; on a phone, Share sends it to any app.
- 3Long text becomes a thread on X, Threads and Bluesky. A line of --- in your text starts the next post. Copy post 1, then the button moves on to post 2.
- 4The checks say whether it is ready: the length, what shows before "more", too many hashtags, links Instagram can't open, a phone number Google would turn down. Some have a one-tap fix.
- 5A link nobody counts can become a short link from Links in one tap, so you see how many people tap it. If you already have a short link to the same page, Writer uses it instead of making another.
- 6Export makes a Word document, a PDF, a web page, Markdown or plain text; carousel slides as a PDF for LinkedIn or pictures for Instagram; or the campaign pack, one .zip with every version and a sheet of what goes where.
Good to know
- Each AI request uses credits from your plan: one for three short options, four for a long draft, eight for a whole campaign. Formats, copying, snippets and exports use no credits.
- Up to 200 snippets for each workspace, each up to 2,000 characters.
- Writer never posts anything for you.
