Is it really free?
Yes. The Free plan issues 10 documents a month, and drafts never count. Paid plans issue as many as you need, remove the ToolkitDeck credit and chase late invoices by email automatically.
Do you handle the payment?
No. Your client pays you directly, by bank transfer or through your own payment page. You record the payment when it arrives, and the invoice shows as paid.
What about VAT and withholding tax in Nigeria?
Set VAT per line (7.5% is filled in for naira invoices). If a company client deducts withholding tax, add their rate and the invoice shows the amount they will actually pay.
Can I change an invoice after sending it?
Issued documents are kept exactly as sent, which is what accountants and tax offices expect. To change one, void it and make a copy with the corrections; its number is never reused.
Does my client need an account?
No. They open the link on any phone or computer, download the PDF, copy your bank details, and accept a quote with their name.
