Couple budget template
For couples sharing a home. Both incomes go in, the shared bills come out, and each of you keeps a personal allowance that nobody has to explain. A joint goal, like a house or a wedding, gets its own savings line.

What to put in it
- Agree the personal allowances first. It avoids most arguments about money.
- Name the joint goal, like "House deposit", so it is easy to see it grow.
- Review the plan together once a month. Ten minutes is enough.
How it works
- Open the template and type what comes in each month.
- Every category gets its share, so the plan adds up at once. Change any figure.
- Add what you spend, or import a bank statement, and see each month against the plan.
Questions people ask
Is the budget planner free?
Yes. One budget is free, with the last 3 months to look back on. Paid plans keep more budgets and every past month.
Do you connect to my bank?
No. You type what you spend, or upload a statement you downloaded yourself. We never ask for bank logins.
