E-invoice reader
Open the e-invoices German, French and other European customers and suppliers send: XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, Factur-X and Peppol. Each one opens as an invoice you can read, with its sums checked, and downloads as a PDF or a spreadsheet.
Open an e-invoice
- 1Drop the files on the page or press Choose files: the XML file, or the PDF with the XML inside. Up to 20 at once.
- 2Each file opens as an invoice: who it is from and to, the dates and references, every line, discounts, the VAT by rate, the totals and the amount due, how to pay, notes and attached documents.
- 3Files are deleted as soon as they are read. Nothing is kept.
Checks
- 1Every invoice is checked the way an accountant would by hand: the lines add up, each line is quantity times price, discounts and charges are counted, VAT is the rate times the amount, and the amount due is right.
- 2The IBAN's check digits are tested. If an IBAN fails, confirm the account with the seller by phone before you pay.
- 3A green list means everything adds up; anything that does not is shown in amber with the numbers.
Downloads
- 1PDF makes a clear copy of the invoice to file or forward, with the checks at the end.
- 2Excel puts every invoice you have opened on one sheet, a row each, and every line on a second sheet, ready for your bookkeeping.
- 3Attached documents inside an invoice, such as a timesheet, download from the invoice.
Good to know
- The Free plan reads 100 files a month; Pro reads 2,000.
