Open an e-invoice and see the invoice, not the XML
Since 2025, businesses in Germany must accept e-invoices, and France and the rest of Europe are following. They arrive as XML that opens as a wall of code. Drop one here, or the PDF with the XML inside, and read it like any invoice, with every sum checked before you pay.
XRechnung in UBL or CII, Peppol BIS Billing, ZUGFeRD and Factur-X, as XML files or PDFs with the XML attached. Invoices and credit notes.
Checked before you pay
Lines, discounts, VAT by rate, totals and the amount due added up again, and the IBAN's check digits tested, so a typo or a swapped account stands out.
PDF and Excel
A clear PDF to file or forward, and every invoice you open on one spreadsheet with all the lines, ready for your bookkeeping.
Nothing kept
Each file is read once and deleted. Attached documents, like a timesheet, open straight from the invoice.
Questions people ask
What is an e-invoice?+
An invoice as structured data (XML) rather than a picture of a page, so software can read it. In Europe the standard is EN 16931, written in two ways: UBL and CII. XRechnung, Peppol, ZUGFeRD and Factur-X are versions of it.
Can I open a ZUGFeRD or Factur-X PDF?+
Yes. These PDFs carry the invoice XML inside them. The reader finds it and shows the invoice from the data, which is what counts, not from the picture.
Is it free?+
Yes, for 100 files a month. Pro reads 2,000.
Do you keep my invoices?+
No. Each file is deleted as soon as it is read. The PDF and spreadsheet are made from what you see on your screen.
Does it check that an invoice is valid?+
It checks the sums, VAT, dates and IBAN, the things that matter before paying. It is not an official validator of every XRechnung rule.
Copying a bank statement out of a PDF by hand is slow and easy to get wrong. A faster way to get it into Excel, how to check every figure came across correctly, and what to do with it next.
The details every invoice needs, the payment terms that get money in sooner, the small mistakes that delay it, and a calm routine for chasing late payers.
