QR and barcode scanner
Scan QR codes and barcodes with your camera or from a picture, see what each one holds before anything opens, and count codes into lists.
Scan a code
- 1Allow the camera when your browser asks, then point it at the code. It is read as soon as it is in view, with a beep.
- 2On a computer, or for a code in a screenshot, press Read a picture, drop the picture on the page, or paste it with Ctrl+V.
- 3Barcodes on products read best with the camera a hand's width away. Use Barcode to show a wide guide, and the light button in a dark room.
What you can do with it
- 1A link shows where it goes and any warning before you open it. A short link made with ToolkitDeck shows its real destination.
- 2Wi-Fi shows the network and lets you copy the password, to paste in your Wi-Fi settings.
- 3A contact saves to your phone with Save contact; an event goes into your calendar with Add to calendar.
- 4A product barcode shows its number, whether its check digit is right and where the number was registered. A book's ISBN opens the book.
- 5Everything you scan is kept in History, on any device you sign in on. Remove one, or clear it all.
Count into a list
- 1Under Lists, make a list. Leave Count repeats on for stock: the same code again adds one. Turn it off to keep every scan as its own line with its time, for parcels or check-ins.
- 2Choose the list where it says Scan, then scan code after code. Each one is counted with a beep.
- 3Open the list to name each code, change a count by hand, or remove a line. Download it to Excel or CSV.
- 4Everyone on your team can count into the same list from their own phone.
Good to know
- Scanning and history are free. The free plan keeps three lists, each up to 5,000 lines. Your history keeps your newest 500 scans.
